Terms of service

These terms govern your use of ShunyaSe. They are written to be read once, in plain English, rather than skimmed and agreed to.

Last updated 23 August 2026. Questions about anything on this page go to support@shunyase.com.

1. Who you are agreeing with

ShunyaSe is operated by ShunyaSe, registered in India. “We”, “us” and “the platform” mean that company and this software. “You” means the person using it, and the company they act for.

By creating an account you accept these terms. If you are using ShunyaSe on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to accept them for that company.

2. What the platform does, and does not do

ShunyaSe is analysis and workflow software for founders raising capital. It scores your pitch deck, builds financial projections and a valuation range, maintains a cap table, and lets you search a directory of investors and track outreach.

Three things it explicitly is not:

  • It is not investment advice. A readiness score, a valuation range and a fundraising projection are analytical outputs from the data you supply. They are not a recommendation to raise, to accept terms, or to value your company at any figure, and they are not a securities offering.
  • It is not a broker or placement agent. We do not introduce you to investors on your behalf, and we never contact an investor on our own. Outreach sends only the emails you approve, from your own mailbox, in your name. We take no equity, commission or success fee on any round you raise.
  • It does not guarantee an outcome. No score, match or model implies that you will raise, that any investor will respond, or that a valuation is achievable. Investors make their own decisions on their own criteria.

3. Your account

Accounts are created with Google sign-in. You are responsible for the security of the Google account you sign in with, and for everything done under your account. One account is for one person; do not share credentials.

You must be at least 18 years old. Tell us at support@shunyase.com immediately if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.

4. Your content stays yours

You keep all rights to everything you upload: decks, financial data, documents, cap table records. Uploading them grants us a narrow, revocable licence to do exactly one thing: store, process and display that content to you and to the people you share it with, so the product can function.

That licence does not extend to anything else. We do not sell your content, do not share it with other founders or with investors, and do not use it to train a publicly available model. Deleting content ends the licence over it.

You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, and for the accuracy of the figures you enter. Outputs derive from your inputs.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use ShunyaSe to:

  • upload material you do not have the right to share, or that is unlawful;
  • scrape, bulk-export or resell the investor directory, or use it to send unsolicited bulk mail;
  • misrepresent your company's financials to a third party using documents generated here;
  • attempt to access another account, or to probe or disrupt the service.

We may suspend an account that does any of these, and will tell you why when we do.

6. Acceptable use of the investor data

The investor directory, and the accelerator, grant and pilot programme listings, are provided for one purpose: your own company's fundraising. You may search and read them, and contact the investors and programmes in them about raising for your company.

You may not:

  • scrape or crawl them, or extract them by any automated or bulk means, including scripts, bots, browser extensions or repeated exports;
  • resell, republish or share the data, or any part of it, outside your own fundraising, or use it to build or enrich another list or product.

To protect the data, we limit how much of it any account can see in a day and in a year, we monitor for use that looks automated or excessive, and we may suspend an account that breaks this clause.

7. Plans, billing and the end of a plan

There is a free tier, and paid plans. Each paid plan is one payment that covers one year. The allowances of each plan, covering investor matches and views, deck reviews, file shares and AI credits, are stated on the pricing page and apply for that plan year.

Prices are inclusive of all taxes. The figure shown on the pricing page is the figure you pay; we do not add GST at checkout.

Features marked “Coming soon” are on the roadmap and are not part of what you are paying for today. Plan pricing reflects what ships today, and you are never billed separately for a roadmap item.

Nothing renews automatically. Your access runs to the end date shown on your subscription page, and we do not charge you again unless you choose to buy another plan. There is nothing to cancel.

When a paid plan ends, your account moves to the free tier: paid features and the larger allowances stop, and AI actions are paused until you buy a plan again. Everything you have already generated stays in your account and stays readable, and any top-up credits you have not used are kept. A new plan starts a new year of allowances from the day you pay for it.

Upgrading from Pro to Max during your plan year is charged at the full Max price and starts a full year of Max from the day you upgrade. There is no downgrade during a plan year: Max cannot be swapped for Pro while it is active, and you can choose Pro once Max has ended.

We may change prices for future purchases. A plan you have already paid for keeps running to its stated end date.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep ShunyaSe available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, add or remove features. Where a change materially reduces what a paid plan provides, we will tell you.

9. Liability

The platform is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for a fundraise that does not happen. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time. On closure we delete your content in line with the retention periods set out in the privacy policy. We may close an account that breaches these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
